Brad Raker (Raker Project) first picked up a trumpet at the age of 9 years and studied classical and jazz music on brass and wind instruments throughout his school years until he found his true "voice" in his late teens. Self-taught on guitar, keys and vocals, Brad paid dues in nightclubs, recording studios and as opening tour slots for major musical acts.

In 1993 Brad met and formed a partnership with DJ, producer and promoter, John Alvarado. Their musical union, under the psuedonyms, M-Five and Raker Project and with many talented collaborators spawned several chart topping dance singles that many point to as cornerstones in the Florida and NYC dance scenes.

With worldwide success in sales and performance these two formed their own label, Decibel Recordings, and continue to make some of todays most innovative and danceable music.
