DJ Javas started his career back in 1996, when he helped to create the atmosphere of the early house-music scene in club Mersey (Brno CZ) together with his brother DJ Koala and DJ Vik. While gaining contacts and experience, he began to play in city Prague too, at the best places such as Akropolis, Radost FX or Roxy and Mecca. Javas became well-known among clubbers in the whole Czech Republic.

In 1998, he met Iva Bittova, a famous diva, popular among world-music and ethno-music lovers all around Europe and they started a fruitful partnership.

Soon their liveacts, based on flexible house rhythms and Iva's magic voice, singing, mumbling, whispering (and of course playing the violin), reveal together unique layers of beauty within this special collaboration. Not to forget Hanka Mikolaskova (alias Hanka Sax), a jazz-rock saxophonist, that has as well played together with Javas on various events and parties and brought another flow of energy, making the dancefloor go wild. As a resident DJ in Brno's best club, Fléda (organized with LevelB production), Javas has a stable position among local DJs, and his parties created a solid base of fans, usually experienced clubbers.

DJ Javas plays acid jackin deep tech-house, electro or nu jazz breaks. As already mentioned, he has played in many popular clubs or festivals in Czech and Slovak republic, and he has also appeared in other countries, e.g. England (Nottingham, Lincoln), France (Chamonix), Austria (Wien, Graz), Poland (Krakow) or Hungary (Gyor).

PE!Music is a Wien-based project (led by Oscarsix and Natasza) dedicated to interconnecting artists and activities on the electronic music scene in Central Europe (parties, production, label, DJs, sets, news etc). Javas is proud to take part in the projects. PE!Music crew includes Asad Rizvi, Murray Richardson, DJ Freestyle, Tom Gillieron, Massimo DaCosta, The Rurals, Martin Haberland, Wax Vax and many other big personalities.

His production career started with a few tracks, released usually on cd covers for magazines. One of them made it for a theme in an underground film and you might have the chance to hear them on the dance-floor where they belong. At the beginning of 2005 there was a compilation of independent musicians under Solid Session crew.

At the end of the same year, another CD was released called The Party. It catches the atmosphere of DJ Javas and Iva Bittova cooperation. Recorded for Indies Records, it contains a lot of great tracks by above-mentioned producers (Jeff Bennett, Tom Churchill, Alex Moran, All Good Funk Alliance and others).

Javas' sets and music are a permanent challenge to move forward and find out new directions in music.
