dBell (Denny Bellens) was born in the Summer of 1980 in Bankgkok Thailand. 15 years later, he started fiddling with cd-players, honing and developing his skills, his music ear and his talent. At the end of 2003, around his 23rd birthday, he broke down and decided to buy some second-hand turntables from a close friend and the rest was history.
A year later, he landed his first official 10-week residency at Club Dodge (Oevel - Westerlo). The money he made from this frist gig went straight to augment and extend his record collection: dBell was hooked!dBell later won the 2005 DJ contest at Boccaccio Life. The opening of Club DeLite saw dBell assume the helms of resident DJ.
dBell describes his DJ sound as diverse and well-rounded, including Groovy, Electro, Classic House, Trance and even Hard Club House. In 2008, dBell entered the Bonzai Remix Contest and submitted orginal remix tracks. Altough his entry did not win the contest, the remix he submitted was released officially in October 2008. Right at the end of the Summer that year, while laying the foundations for his future music career, dBell was given a unique chance to join the ranks of New York's Decibel NYC Recordings with projects for a first EP real soon.
